At Tint Taupo, we believe we're unique for several reasons. With over 20 years of experience in both house and vehicle tinting, we bring a wealth of expertise to every project. We have a strong preference for Avery Dennison films due to their reliability and quality. What truly sets us apart is that we handle all the work personally, fostering a friendly work environment and minimising errors.
Our Story
Tint Taupo is the new kid on the block in Taupo, established by myself Brian Fromont in October 2023. For me it's more of a homecoming, I was born at Taumarunui hospital and spent a significant part of my early years in and around Taupō and the stunning mountains that embrace the region. In 1974, my family relocated to Whangarei, where I spent my formative years. I followed a unique path, completing a boat building apprenticeship and becoming a harbour board skipper and day charter skipper in the Bay of Islands. I even owned a commercial cleaning company for some extra excitement.
Then, 22 years ago, my good friend Terry introduced me to the art of tinting, and I've never looked back. I still own a tinting business in Whangarei, but the allure of Taupo was irresistible. I have a lot of friends and family in this community, and I've reached a point in life where I want to focus on a new and better journey. Here I am, ready to bring my experience, passion, and expertise to Taupo.
Our Mission
I believe there's a pressing need for reasonably priced, high-quality, and friendly window tinting services. Too many vehicles remain unprotected by tinting, and countless homes still have only clear annealed glass that turns interiors into ovens during summer while fading floors.
